? >> supervisor campos: if we can ask ms. campbell? i just wanted to give my colleagues the opportunity to say anything. >> good afternoon chair chur and members of the committee. supervisor campos did actually go over the scope that we have introduced in the motion. it's a very broad scope. at the scope that would be like any initiative of any audit. we conduct a risk assessment, where we would carefully define the scope and narrow it to what we consider the most critical areas. a couple of points about this audit. this is a hud-funded agency, not funded by the city. we have met with the government relations officer from the housing authority and discuss our working relationship. he did provide us with a copy of the information request provided by hud. we talked about what the hud scope would be so we would be able to work cooperatively and make sure we are making the best use of resources in terms of conducting the audit. we have already begun that discussion, although abortion is not the best. >> supervisor campos: ms. campbell forgot to brought this, and glad that you brought it up. housi

look to people like anne campbell, our superintendent and to cheryl there to educate us and i said this morning "i am interested what we can do as a district attorney's office to help , what we can do to help" because we recognize we're not experts. we have an expertise in certain areas dealing with consequences and accountability and we're good with that. when it comes to soft power with great collaboration we can have a support role and provide to our educators and experts what exactly can we do to assist you getting to the end that everybody talked about today and that's the only different take we would have. >> great thank you. [applause] i would like to say we need to wrap up. we have a late start and need to keep moving. i would like to say what struck me today that even though teachers and principals are in school all day addressing those things in the hallways and they're not here. we have school people but they're not the ones on the ground but i think they would be thrilled to know that the people in this room that represent law enforcement -- i think i saw someone fr

have his permit. thank you. next speaker, please. >> hello, my name is troy campbell. i am not envious of the decision that you have in front of you tonight. it's very tough. we have heard a lot of opinions, a lot of anecdotal information and a lot of what if's, but i want to share in information from a recent article from early january. the golden gate restaurant association that reported that when food trucks pull up in front of restaurants they have been reporting a 30-40% loss in business. i wonder how many of the people who are for food trucks would like to see a 30-40% loss of their business from something that pulls up in front of their office, their retail store? and then pulls away? i think the 300' radius and like food items was put in place to try to protect those businesss and push the food carts in areas that are food desert where's they need to create activity and more opportunities for neighborhoods that are underserved. so thinking about the loss of business that could affect these restaurants and cafes in the financial district, >> thank you >> is there any further

and that is that especially since mike campbell left, your staff doesn't understand what is in front of them for local power, they do a lot of good work on a lot of different things when it comes to local distributed generation of local clean energy, they are not getting this. and we have really got do something to pick up on what jessica was talking about and we need to hire a director for the staff that is deeply knowledgeable about the local distributed generation and how to implement it through this program otherwise we are going to lose this program. and i want to get back to the key problem is that for many many years through many ordinance and is resolutions both the board of supervisors and yourselves have directed your staff to work on the local power model and bring it forward. these resolution and is ordinances did not direct power enterprise staff to battle with the contractor, who which, is far more enter the than they are on these issues and resist what they are proposing at every turn i'm sorry to be so critical, but this is very serious as you were saying commissioner mr. president, the f

and milpitas and campbell and livermore all that heavy rainfall yesterday, well that heavy rainfall is now in southern california. but that same weather system is the catalyst for the sunshine and mild weather today. how does that happen? when it moves far enough away it takes the clouds with it but we still get the southerly influence. that's were we were mild today. factor in the sunshine and many of you were in the mid- to upper 60s. we look to the north for the next weathermaker where things typically come fro. a cold front will get here tomorrow. tiny chance of a shower north of the golden gate but we all will get cooler air. 60s tomorrow, no. we'll have highs in the mid- to upper 50s. by the top of next week, we are going to have cold nights lows in the 30s again down near freezing in the inland valleys and highs only in the mid-50s the cooler air moving in starting tomorrow. no more 60s for a while. slight chance of a weekend shower if i had to pinpoint one half of one day that would be the wettest, scattered showers on sunday morning. next week
